The Staglands Wildlife Reserve’s licensed café is a large, traditional log building with a large open fire to keep you warm in winter. There are seating areas outside and the menu includes all day breakfast, chicken nuggets, peanut butter or marmite sandwiches and paninis as well as favourites like bangers and mash. There are highchairs and you can eat at the café without going into the park.
Possibly in the best location in town, this restaurant is located on Oriental Parade. Mains are priced from $12.50 with an accompanying all you can eat salad boat for $3.50. The children’s menu features salad, waffle dog, squid rings, deep fried fish, crumbed chicken or hamburger and ice cream sundae is included in the price and there are plenty of highchairs available.
An idea place for the whole family, this restaurant provides genuine fresh Mexican food served in vibrant, colourful surroundings at cheap and cheerful prices. The children’s menu for 12 years and under has a choice of tacos or chicken and cheese quesadilla, ice cream and a drink for $12.

Located in the Wellington City Library, Clarks is a counter service café with great food and coffee.

One Red Dog has great food from pizzas and pastas to calzones and salads. The children’s menu has pizza or noodles with banana splits or ice cream and jelly for dessert. Highchairs are provided at Blair Street but not at the Waterfront location.
