This resort has so much to do you may never need to leave it! Three thermal mineral pools, hot-water hydroslides (they have New Zealand’s longest hot-water slide), bumper boats, games room and TV, plus a children’s play area and trampolines. They even have their own aviary, animals and deer park! There are picnic areas and barbecues and a restaurant is next door. Accommodation includes motels, flat, cabins, tent and power sites.
Waitomo Holiday Park has landscaped grounds, a children’s playground with trampoline and a swimming pool. They also have a communal kitchen/tv room and library. The self-contained units and motel rooms have their own bathroom facilities. Shops, restaurants and the museum are just across the road and the famous glowworm caves are close by.
Centrally situated on State Highway 3, this farmstay is set on an 80 hectare farm with Stud Angus Cattle and Thoroughbred horses. Enjoy a warm welcome from the miniature fox terrier and the cat. Join in with the farm activities or visit the computerized cow-shed. They also have a swimming pool, pool table and large garden. There is a twin room with two single beds and double room with double bed and two singles. All their meat, fruit and vegetables are home grown and guests are welcome for dinner by arrangement.
