Ohiwa Beach Holiday Park
Ohiwa Beach Holiday Park, located on the eastern shores of Ohiwa Harbour, is close to Ohope and Whakatane, and less than 2 hours from either Tauranga or Gisborne.  Ohiwa offers a wide range of aquatic activities from swimming and shellfish collecting, to boating and fishing, all right at your doorstep. Close at hand you will also find activities such as golf, horseriding, hiking and beach walks, bush walks with glow worms, arts and crafts and kayaking.

Also available is a  two-lane, concrete boat ramp to take your boat out on the water for a day of fun and sunshine.  Make use of water skiing lanes and designated jetski areas or simply throw your line out and catch a few fish for dinner.

Playground & Jumping Pillow
We have a fantastic children’s playground and jumping pillow; meaning your kids can 'have a ball' while you are relaxing.
The children’s playground at Ohiwa Beach Holiday Park has two slides, a set of swings and a sea-saw - plus an awesome jumping pillow which is a large balloon-like surface that can hold numerous children at any one time. It's GREAT fun!
The jumping pillow is open from 8.30am to 7.00pm daily (unless wet). All children must be supervised by an adult over the age of 16.

Games Room
Our games room includes air hockey, table tennis and a TV.. A small selection of books will keep you occupied, and our notice board will keep you updated with what's going on in the area.

The Park itself is a children’s wonderland with several enjoyable and unique activities available. All you need is a little imagination. Children take great delight in ‘Grass Tobogganing’ sliding down a hill at the rear of the Park. Tree swings with elevated views of the camp, driftwood huts and harbour swimming are also Park activities that keep the children entertained for hours! From Christmas to the end of January we offer a children’s programme where a variety of activities are organised on a daily basis.

1 child stays free of charge with every paying adult.
