More on Queenstown Ice Arena, family and child friendly ice skating in Queenstown
The Queenstown Ice Arena is a covered rink, with lots of seating space for spectators, brand-new cafe and toilet on-site.
As well as free skating, we run lessons from beginners to experienced and in winter we have our popular ice hockey league.  Competitors are encouraged from any age group and there's plenty of opportunity for those who wish to learn the sport.

Ice Skating is ideal for all ages, and we even have skates for hire for under 4 yr olds!  For littlies we can also provide a stabiliser frame to give confidence and support while learning.  Ice sleds can be hired for $5 and helmets are available free of charge.

Open Late for Ice Disco on Fridays until 9:30pm
