New this summer, historic Dudley's Cottage is a great venue for families. In the sunny, spacious garden there is a long goldpanning trough where children love to experience panning for gold, just like in the old days! Our friendly staff will show you and the kids what to do and then ... go for gold! Pay dirt is guaranteed and you even get to take away your own gold. Littlies as young as three or four just love this and if you have a group or birthday party, we'll organise some fun, gold-themed activities! Gold pans are also available for hire or purchase if you want to extend your search to the nearby shallows of the Arrow River. Cafe on site serving sandwiches, toasties and yummy slices as well as coffees, juices and ice cream.

Minimum Age10 years (Note: The trip is suitable for under 10 years at the discretion of the operator. This company has a long record of safety and experience. We'd call this a 'low risk high action' activity!)

Combine the fun and adrenalin of this action adventure with safe, experienced guiding – a perfect balance of ropes, rocks and rivers. Rappel down waterfalls, fly over the canyon on ziplines, splash into rock pools, cascade down chutes and swim narrow passageways as you descend through the canyon. No experience required. Activities are fully demonstrated by professional qualified guides, with safety briefings before each mission. For a longer trip suitable for older children ask staff about our challenging Routeburn canyoning option in Glenorchy.
