Real Journeys – Te Anau Glowworm Caves Shimmering Lights
The mysterious Te Anau Glowworm Caves will delight the entire family. Travel deep into an underground world of sculpted rock and rushing water, and see thousands of shimmering glowworms. The excursion begins with a cruise on the catamaran Luminosa across Lake Te Anau to the isolated western shores. On arrival, A nature guide will take you underground into the caves in small groups (maximum 14). It’s an unforgettable adventure for all ages and children especially love seeing the glowworms light up the glowworm grotto.

Departs: 2pm and 7pm (all year), plus 5.45pm (Nov - Apr), 8.15pm (Oct – mid Apr). Other departures as locally advertised. At times morning departures may be scheduled.
