Why In-Home Childcare?
Quite simply because we believe, and research supports the fact that, In-Home is the BEST PLACE to support early learning and infant brain development.

When a family chooses In-Home Childcare they are giving their children only one extra adult to form a secure attachment with. Their child remains in a calm, predictable home environment. The running of the home and routines form the basis for all learning.
More and more families are becoming disenchanted with having to leave their children in large and busy group settings. We know this from the enormous growth PORSE has experienced working with now thousands of families and children on the PORSE Programme nationwide.

The trend toward in-home services shouldn't be a surprise though, when you consider all the benefits.

The education, care, health and home management programme delivered by a PORSE Educator offers families:
* Stress-free childcare arrangements
* One-on-one interaction with a consistent and responsive educator
* Unrivalled flexibility and convenience
* Social interaction outings for children and regular PORSE PlaySchools
* Appreciation of personal health needs and conditions.
* Support with challenging or concerning behaviours
* Personal selection of a PORSE Educator Affirmation and support of a    family's values, beliefs and culture
* Direct daily feedback of children's play experiences, learning opportunities and progress
* The benefits of home management (if choosing the Nanny/Family Share option)
* Security and peace of mind

Families are supported to choose an educator who they personally feel 100% comfortable with and able to communicate easily with.

Educators receive workplace training and professional development to upskill and achieve positive outcomes for children and families.

Families do not pay placement fees - a charge levied by traditional nanny agencies. The fee can often be the barrier that stops families from keeping their children at home.

In addition to accessing the PORSE Programme, families may choose to take advantage of the PORSE Payroll administration service.

Families are responsible for paying their educator's wage or fee, but if eligible these payments may be partly or fully subsidised by WINZ (childcare and multiple birth), ACC and area health authorities. This makes PORSE In-Home services an affordable Childcare option.
