Welcome to the world’s longest swing bridge! It’s110m long and its narrow, wooden planks swing dizzily around 18m (60ft) above the mighty Buller River. Crossing is a must, but if you’re scared of heights, don’t look down! Other on-site activities include the Comet Line – great for kids and they can do it alone or tandem. It’s a 160m line that you are harnessed to in order to be whizzed over the gorge at speed. Also available are goldpanning and guided walks. Snacks, drinks and toilets on-site.

Explore the beautiful beaches and tracks around Golden Bay and Cape Farewell on horse back! There's nothing as awesome as galloping down a beach or surveying the horizon from astride your horse! We love working with children and families, and have grandkids ourselves, who love the horses! We have trips to suit families with children as young as four, through to overnight treks for the more experienced. Day treks range from 1 1/2 hours to 3 hours, and we cater for those with no riding experience, through to those who wish to ride a bit faster, or who would like the exhilaration of riding along a beach.

Welcome to Chipmunks, the pay for play indoor children’s adventure playground and café. Chipmunks is the ultimate place for children of all ages to go for entertainment and educational purposes. Our playland primarily consists of specialised play equipment of an extremely high standard, with protective matting and padding. We also have mazes, inflatable slides, flying fox, play stations, ball pools and a separate area for under 3s. Birthday Parties and after school care available. Café on-site. Touch the Sea Aquarium has been specifically created to allow a close up experience of New Zealand sea and shoreline life. Kids just love it! They can learn about the magic of the underwater world in the ‘deep sea’ education room, touch an inquisitive fish, admire the ever graceful ray, or experience the thrill of a shark close up. The ‘touch pools’ allow them to get their hands wet and feel the textures of the marine life. The aquarium will leave you and the kids with a lasting impression and a new appreciation of ocean life. Our shop on site also has a great range of ocean themed gifts, toys, and keepsakes.

Just tons of entertainment and summer fun for the family, only 10 minutes drive from Nelson city centre. The Tahuna Fun Park offers a pool with hydroslide, inflatable bumpa boats, crazy golf, mini jeep rides, roller skating, adventure playground, tennis courts, bmx track, go karts, miniature railway, zoological park, roller blading and a skateboard half pipe.

Not just a regular swimming pool! Fun facilities include our ever popular Wave Pool - State of the art and great family fun, generating its own wave. We also have 2 toddlers’ pools, a Lazy River, Family Spas and Friday evening Wave Raves. We cater for birthday parties and offer Swimsation Baby and Toddler lessons (caregiver to participate).
