KAYAK TRIP OPTIONS
Classic River Trip - Scenery, fun rapids, bird life, escape the crowds, 2 hrs on the river, allow 4 in total.

Big Day Out - Paddle on 2 of NZ’s best rivers. Adventure for novice to expert, (allow 6-7 hrs) River kayaks available for experienced paddlers.

River Journey - 2-3 or 4 day journeys, riverside camping, swimming, fishing, relaxing, a great way to travel.

USEFUL INFORMATION
Ages - we have taken children as young as four years old on our kayaking trips - as long as we can discuss with you in advance, we can prepare a trip to suit your family.
Pick Up - available from Geraldine, otherwise we meet you at the easy to find Peel Forest store.
We Provide - woollen thermals ,overtrousers, spray jackets (easier and nicer than wetsuits)
and all the safety equipment eg lifejackets and helmets. For little kiddies we also have a wee wetsuit.
What to bring - change of underwear, towels and a smile!
Cameras - we do carry a dry bag for your camera.  However we also take our own waterproof camera and provide a CD of pictures of your trip at no extra cost, so you can enjoy your day and not worry about taking photos.
Prices - depend on your trip, but start at $55 per head for a family of four.
Toilets - there are toilet stops at the start and finish of our trip, plus we are happy to stop enroute.
First Aid - our guides are qualified first aiders, including training in wilderness first aid and swiftwater rescue.
Food - on longer trips, all food is provided, including our own farm produce, home baking, fresh sandwiches, muffins, salads, hot and cold drinks.  We'll let you know what provisions are supplied for the trip you book.
Group Size - we are focused on being flexible and aim to meet your family's needs.  Therefore we rarely take groups of more than 7 people, keeping your trip small, safe and personal.
