A historic (1884) 2 bedroom rabbiters cottage, situated in the tiny village of Kimbell, on the route between Christchurch and Mount Cook. A country hideaway, with the Southern Alps on its doorstep, Rabbiters Cottage is a few minutes walk from the local pub, serving food, and 8 minutes drive from the township of Fairlie. The cottage is a blend of modern appliances and rustic furniture. Lots of outdoor space for the kids, with outdoor toys and gumboots for your use, and two bedrooms, one with Queen bed, and the other can be set up as two large singles or one King bed. A selection of children's games and books are kept in the cottage. An ideal country base or stopover, we're less than an hour from 3 ski fields and under half an hour from the turquoise blue waters of Lake Tekapo.
