Alpine Village Cruisers - fun family transport Hanmer Springs
Alpine Village Cruisers are the fun transport around Hanmer Springs!  Built for 2 to 6 people you just sit back and pedal gently around the flat streets of Hanmer Springs Village.  Enough storage to take a picnic and head to Hanmer Forest, or use as infant seats with seat belts.  Alpine Crazy Putt is Hanmer Springs' central mini golf course - opposite the Heritage Hotel, it's also your starting point for the Village Cruisers.  The challenging mini golf course has a historic Canterbury theme with the holes modeled on distinctive local features.  The course features a waterfall with a river winding through it.

There are two bikes to choose from, to suit your family size.
Sport - 2 person bike, with room for a little one and/or storage.*
Limo - 4 person bike with room for 2 extra children and or/storage.*

* Extra people, up to 3 on the Sport or 6 on the Limo is dependant on passengers' size and may not always be possible.  You're welcome to hire more bikes and ride in convoy!

The bikes feature a spacious basket on the front (see photo, above left) which can seat 2 - 5 yrs olds and includes safety belts.

Prices:  Sport, $17 per half hour or $24 per hour (up to 2 people)
             Limo, $27 per half hour or $37 per hour (up to 4 people)
Extra person is $4 or pre schooler is $1
