Antigua Boatsheds - Punting and Boating on the River Avon, Christchurch - suitable for the whole family Explore the River Avon with your own single or double canoe, paddle boat or row boat. The beautiful Avon is a wide, gentle tree lined river with little to no current. It winds its way right through the city centre so you can explore this beautiful NZ city from the water. Our canoes are extremely stable and easy to manage. Singles are ideal for older children, or take your child along in our double canoes. Paddle or row boats are also superb, laid back family options, especially with the littlies. We've a cafe right on site (see our listing under restaurants for more information on our great family dining!) and you'll find us on Cambridge Terrace - look out for the distinctive green striped boatsheds! See our restaurant listing for information on dining, picnics and birthday parties. ACTIVITY AGE INFORMATION Ideal for all ages
