Mosquito Simulator
Our Mosquito Flight Simulator has had a major upgrade - the graphics have been re-designed from the ground up so your experience is more life like than ever before! You can now relive one of World War II's most thrilling aerial raids as you fly the Mosquito over the Norwegian fiords in search of German battleships while sitting in a replica Mosquito cockpit.
Tickets are available from Reception for $5 per 5 minutes.

For family fun sign on for the Air Force Adventure and see if you’ve got what it takes to be an Air Force Pilot! If you’re aged between 3 and 12 or simply young at heart then join this tour to enter our ‘behind the scenes’ areas and maybe even graduate with your own set of Air Force Museum ‘Pilot’s Wings’.
The Air Force Experience runs daily on weekends and during the school holidays at 11.15am. Tours cost $5 per child and $3 per accompanying adult. All children receive their own complimentary ‘Pilot’s Log Book’.
Kids’ Parties
Looking for somewhere different for your child's next birthday party? Why not come to the Air Force Museum, and let us take care of everything!
Our Kids’ Parties include party food, loot bag and guided tours of our reserve aircraft collection including the Andover aircraft and the Pacific War Simulator or Life Raft Room plus some cool extras such as flight suits and invitations. We have a range of parties that are ideal for boys and girls aged 3-12 years. Ask us about our Paratrooper Parties and Propeller Parties. Timeframes are flexible, although we recommend that groups allow 2 hours for the party. Parties run 3 times on both Saturday and Sunday and weekday parties can be arranged.

Education
The Air Force Museum provides students of all ages with valuable hands-on learning experiences not usually seen in the classroom. Our education programmes are fun and educational, specifically designed to meet the objectives in the New Zealand curriculum, and are delivered by qualified teachers.

Year 4 - 13 - eight exciting programmes from 'Exploring Flight' to 'Bombing Raid & Air Sea Rescue'
