Pete's Farm Stay - Real kiwi farmstay and Bed & Breakfast.Sheep,cows,alpacas.
Close to Christchurch on the North Canterbury Plains of New Zealands South Island.  Pete and Gaye have hosted farm tours for the last 10 years. Petes Farm offers 2 sorts of accommodation. Both are new and modern.

House - The house has 4 bedrooms. 1 has an ensuite and 3 have their own private bathroom and toilet. All bedrooms have great views of the mountains and countryside.
As this is a new house it is warm in the winter. All beds have electric blankets on in the winter. We have 2 outdoor patios to relax on. When staying in the house breakfast is included in the price. Dinner is also available on request.

Self Contained Cottage - The cottage has 2 bedrooms and sleeps up to 6 people.  Lounge , fully-equipped kitchen, laundry, bathroom & toilet. There is a private deck that gives you great views of the mountains.  Great for families, with a sand pit, trampoline and swing. The pet sheep are right next to the cottage. When staying in the cottage breakfast is included in the price. Dinner is also available on request.

Because Petes Farmstay is only 25 minutes from Christchurch airport or city you can take day trips going to Arthur's Pass, Akaroa, Whale Watching at Kaikoura, Hanmer Springs Thermal Pools, the Antarctic Centre, Mount Cook and all the ski fields.
