Vertical Playground - Whangarei
The only indoor climbing wall in Northland, this is a fantastic activity for children and adults, from four years up. Our climbs range from fun and easy for complete beginners, to technical and challenging - something to work towards! There are 25 ropes, giving you a choice of 60 climbs and the routes are changed regularly so you won't get bored! |
Clapham Clocks - Whangarei
Learn about clock making at The National Clock Museum in Whangarei which has one of the largest collections of clocks in the Southern Hemisphere, with its collection of 1400 clocks and 6 music boxes from all over the world. This educational and entertaining experience is one for the whole family! |
Dive! Tutukaka - Whangarei
Giant weta, tuatara, birds, dolphins, sting rays and fish and more fish! The friendly crew of Dive! Tutukaka will look after you and your children on their boats. They offer snorkeling, kayaking, sightseeing and diving. The minimum age for children to dive is 10 years old, (subject to any medical conditions). No minimum age for children’s snorkeling but they must be supervised. Kids’ size wetsuits available. They provide a buffet lunch and free transport from Whangarei.
