These public kindergartens do not charge fees but they ask that families contribute to the running costs by donating approximately $3 – $5 a session. Children can be enrolled after two years of age and visits are welcome if you want to drop in and check the kindergarten out. All kindergarten teachers are fully trained and registered. Session times vary but are generally two and a half to three hours long, three to five sessions a week. |

KidStart
KidStart provides a home-based care and learning service for newborn to five years in the home of a carefully selected and trained caregiver. Brought to you by Barnados and approved by the Ministry of Education, KidStart can help your child learn and develop in a safe home environment. |
Kindercare Learning Centres
With centres throughout Auckland, Kindercare offers care for babies up to preschoolers. Parents are welcome to join their children at any time throughout the day. Most centres offer casual bookings. Enquire for details. |
Lollipops Educare Early Childhood Centres
Lollipops Educare believe that and early childhood education should reflect the need and desires of parents and children in the local community. Their licensed early childhood centers are independently owned and offer care for newborns to 5 years old. |
