Minimum Age Guide
Kids can experience a whole range of challenges in a safe enviornment.  This guide gives you minimum age information for Queenstown’s adventure activities.  All activities are mentioned once, at the minimum age.  
Therefore read all activities up to and including the age of your child.  Some activities will indicate a minimum weight in brackets.  In these cases a child of any age must have reached this weight to participate.  
Your child’s participation is at the discretion of the operator and may be dependent on other factors such as height or confidence.  Please see individual listings for more information.

Age 2    Kawarau Bungy Trampoline, Paraflying (accompanied)
Age 3    Skyline Luge (Scenic Track, accompanied),
Family Adventures rafting
Age 5    Dart River Safaris Fun Yaks, Shotover Jet, Goldfields Jet  
Horseriding
Age 6    Cardrona Adventure Park quad bike rides, Skyline Luge (Scenic Track, unaccompanied – minimum height 110cm),  Ziptrek Flying Fox , Tandem Skydive  (Queenstown or Glenorchy – 30kg),
Paragliding (minimum weight – 20kg)
Age 8    Serious Fun River Surfing,  Queenstown Paintball*, Climbing Queenstown (Via Ferrata or abseiling adventure.)
Age 10  The Ledge Sky Swing (minimum weight 35kg), Segway on Q*,  Queenstown Canyon*, AJ Hackett Bungy (Kawarau Bridge & The Ledge at Skyline Gondola), The Nevis Arc
(AJ Hackett Bungy)
Age 11  Skyline Luge (Advanced Track, min height 135cm),
Age 13  AJ Hackett Bungy (Nevis Highwire), whitewater rafting
Age 15  Routeburn Canyon * may be suitable for younger children at the discretion of the operator.
